{diy Wedding Projects} Cinnamon Stick Candle
This is a simple yet great smelling wedding craft idea. You can get cinnamon sticks at Michaels about 15 per bag for $4.99.
Materials Needed
- Cinnamon sticks
- Floral shears
- Hot glue gun
- Pillar candle
- Twine
Cinnamon Candle How To
- Using the floral shears, cut the cinnamon sticks to length
- Apply glue along the cinnamon stick
- Press and hold it to the candle, let dry
- Repeat Steps 2 & 3 until candle is completed
- Tie a piece of twine around cinnamon sticks to help hold into place and for decoration.

15, August 2012, 2:32pm -This is exactly what I wanted for my wedding ! It will be an outdoor wedding so I am thinking of keeping the cinnamon sticks quite log to help shield the flame from the wind do you think this will be fire dangerous?
27, January 2013, 5:39am -Hi Alexandra – Here are two suggestions. Make one now, put it outside and monitor it. Or to insure safety – use a glass candle holder in between. You don’t have to use these big candles you can use votive holders with 7 hour votive candles.
