This is a simple yet great smelling wedding craft idea.  You can get cinnamon sticks at Michaels about 15 per bag for $4.99.

Materials Needed

- Cinnamon sticks
- Floral shears
- Hot glue gun
- Pillar candle
- Twine

Cinnamon Candle How To

  1. Using the floral shears, cut the cinnamon sticks to length
  2. Apply glue along the cinnamon stick
  3. Press and hold it to the candle, let dry
  4. Repeat Steps 2 & 3 until candle is completed
  5. Tie a piece of twine around cinnamon sticks to help hold into place and for decoration.

  2. This is exactly what I wanted for my wedding ! It will be an outdoor wedding so I am thinking of keeping the cinnamon sticks quite log to help shield the flame from the wind do you think this will be fire dangerous?

    • Hi Alexandra – Here are two suggestions. Make one now, put it outside and monitor it. Or to insure safety – use a glass candle holder in between. You don’t have to use these big candles you can use votive holders with 7 hour votive candles.
